Delicious, crunchy goodness with hazelnuts, almonds, spices, and honey - a family recipe developed in the 70's by Annie, Babette's French/Italian mother and Julien's grandmother. Warming and festive, in our family Christmas is not Christmas without panforte! A great "homemade" gift for family and friends.

Because he loves panforte so much (what's there not to love?!) Julien decided we should offer a panforte bar year-round! Although higher in sugar that most of our items, this is a delicious treat made as healthily as possible. A honey sweetened nut and rind bar that will really brighten up your day!

Dried Orange Slices - the easy, no-mess way to eat an orange!

Nature's candy: dehydrated orange slices have extra orange flavor and tanginess - it will catch you by surprise how delicious they are. Good for you and easy to eat, these make a great snack for kids and adults alike.

Even though these delicious orange rinstrips are made with a sugar syrup (NO high fructose corn syrup, ever, in our products), most of it drips off at the end of the cooking process. So they are just perfect - sweet and tangy enough to satisfy that desire for something a little extra at the end of a meal. Plus, orange rind is known to be packed with amazing nutrients like vitamin C, fiber, polyphenols (good for type 2 diabetes, obesity, and Alzheimer's), and limonene, which is anti-inflammatory.

This is a traditional Italian chestnut cake made healthy. With warming ginger and cinnamon, sweetened with a small dose of honey and topped with chopped walnuts, eating one of these mini cakes is a great way to start the day alongside tea or coffee. Some say they taste similar to plain donuts.

DALE'S NEW ENGLAND HERMIT BARS

Dale is a lifelong family friend, and his family, from New England, owned a bakery in the 30s. Dale kindly gave us this recipe, which we adapted to be more nutritious. The heavenly flavors of molasses and gingerbread spicing meld together, and with walnuts added, the texture is like biting into a cloud with little bursts of crunch to keep you on the ground!
